WELCOME TO AILEEN SECORD PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography has been a part of my life since I was born. By the time I was old enough to walk on my own, my father (a great photographer in his own right) chased me around the house begging me to be his muse while he perfected his craft. Much to the chagrin of my family, I hated being in front of cameras for a long time and so my childhood portraits have plenty of me pouting for Dad. Never would I have guessed that after 29 years I’d find myself exactly like my father – behind the lens trying to find beauty through my viewfinder.
As I’ve learned over the years, with hardly a memorable photo of my past, I believe that photos are an important part of life’s history. A special moment or day can easily be forgotten without some form of record that puts memory in to the shape of an image. Whether it’s a child’s first step, a mother’s first tear as her daughter walks down the aisle, or a husband’s genuine look of love and happiness as he dances with his new wife are all details of time that should never be forgotten.
I want my images to hold a special place in time and in your hearts for years to come. I feel blessed to be part of my clients’ lives and to be witness to the joyous moments life has to offer. I hope you’ll invite me to be a part of your lives, too.
